I also recognize that as Professor Yergin from the Physics Department, circa 1968, which is when I graduated.

I see what appear to be dates along the top of the blackboard: '67 to '71, so unless he was discussing future data, I think it may have been ca. 1971

Yep, that's Prof Yergin all right.

I graduated from the Physics department in '79 and also recognize the photo of Professor Yergin. There are some better memories out there than mine. I don't think I could have come up with the name just from the photo, but did immediately recognize him when I saw the name. I know from the familiarity of his photo that I had at least one class with him sometime between '75 and '79, but I'll be damned if I can remember which one (maybe it was Quantum Mechanics). Does anybody remember what undergraduate classes he taught between '75 and '79?

That's me, allright! I.m glad to see from Scott's comment that not only does he remember my name, but says he actually learned something! In the 40 years of teaching I did, that's one of the few acknowledgements I've ever got. And that one is worth them all! Thanks, Scott.

Hey Paul!

Since 1971 is on the board, this might have been in 1972....and hence....I might have been in the classroom when this was taken!
