Tuition Lowered

Posted by Amy the Archivist on April 1, 2010 in

The Rensseltute Board of Trustees announced today another tuition decrease, following their biennial pattern of such action.  Commenting on the decrease, President T.D. Failsome said, "The Tute is well aware that because of the continuous decline in the cost of running a college today, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find worthy uses of the money received from the students."

The board of trustees fully realizes that since this move will necessitate an increased amount of money in the hands of the students, there will be much hard feelings generated.  Hence they will allow the students who can find no other use for their refund to use the Tute incinerator between the hours of 2 and 3 a.m.

We further hope that the student body will take this in the spirit with which it is intended.  The administration is striving hard to be a friend of the student.  We wish the whole student body will persevere through this time of testing so that we together may build a better Rensseltute of tomorrow.

How I miss the 4/1 issues of the Poly! Hope they are still carrying on the tradition.

Putting together the April Fools issue was great fun. In those pre-photoshop days we manipulated photos with an exacto knife and rubber cement.
